Terms of Service
Subject to change.
1
Acceptance of Terms
By accessing our website (ryusushiteppan.com), placing an online or phone order, or dining physically at Ryu Sushi & Teppanyaki, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please refrain from using our services or visiting our establishment.
2
Reservations & Seating Policy
-
Table Reservations: Reservations are recommended (particularly for weekends or teppanyaki grills). You can book by calling (480) 857-3999.
-
Grace Period: A 15-minute grace period applies to all reservations. If your party has not arrived or checked in within 15 minutes of your reservation time, the table may be released to walk-in guests.
-
Teppanyaki Experience: Teppanyaki dining is an interactive group experience. Courses are served in sections rather than all at once. Parties may be seated with other guests at the same teppanyaki grill table depending on group size and availability.
3
Online Ordering, Pricing & Availability
-
Menu & Pricing: Prices, menu items, availability, and daily specials listed on our website, Yelp, DoorDash, or Grubhub are subject to change without notice due to market fluctuations in seafood and ingredients.
-
Third-Party Delivery: Orders placed through third-party platforms (such as DoorDash or Grubhub) are governed by the respective platform's terms regarding fees, delivery times, and refund requests.
4
Gratuity & Service Charges
-
For all group reservations, private events, and parties consisting of six (6) or more guests, a mandatory service charge of 20% will be automatically added to the final itemized bill. This automatic gratuity is a mandatory service charge as defined by applicable local and federal tax guidelines. It is calculated based on the total cost of all food, beverages, and any associated service fees before taxes are applied.
-
By confirming this reservation, booking an event, or being seated as part of a party of six (6) or more, you explicitly acknowledge and agree to the addition of this service charge to your final invoice. Any additional voluntary tipping or gratuity for exceptional service is entirely at the discretion of the guest and will not reduce or replace the mandatory 20% service charge.
5
Food Safety, Allergies & Raw Consumables
-
Raw & Undercooked Foods: Ryu Sushi & Teppanyaki serves raw and undercooked items (including sushi, sashimi, and certain fish/seafood selections). Consuming raw or undercooked meats, poultry, seafood, shellfish, or eggs may increase your risk of foodborne illness.
-
Allergen Disclaimer: While we strive to accommodate dietary preferences, our kitchen handles major allergens including fish, shellfish, soy, wheat/gluten, eggs, sesame, and nuts. Cross-contamination is always a risk. Please inform your server or chef of any severe allergies before ordering.
6
